Myron (Mike) E. Ullman, III

has served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of J. C. Penney Company, Inc. since 2004. He was directeur general, group managing director of LVMH Möet Hennessy Louis Vuitton from 1999 to 2002. Mike previously served as group chairman and chief executive officer of DFS Group Limited (1995-1999) and as chairman and chief executive officer of R.H. Macy & Co., Inc. (1992-1995). He was appointed a White House Fellow by President Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1982. Mike serves on the boards of Starbucks Coffee Company and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He serves on the Retail Industry Leaders Association Board of Directors. Mike is also chairman of the board of Mercy Ships International, a global medical and human services charity and also is on the board of FIRST, a charity that sponsors robotics competitions designed to motivate youth to pursue education and careers in science and technology.

Before joining JCPenney in 2007, Ruby served as senior vice president of marketing communications and business operations for Best Buy Company, Inc. Prior to Best Buy, she was director of advertising and media for The Pillsbury Company. From 1991 to 1997, Ruby served as associate media director and rose to senior partner, group media director, at Euro RSCG Tatham.

Michael J. Boylson

Prior to his current position, he held a number of senior marketing, store and merchandising positions within the Company. Mike began his career with JCPenney in 1978. In 2006, he was inducted into the Retail Advertising Hall of Fame.

is executive vice president and chief financial officer, a position he has held since 2001. Bob joined JCPenney in 1978 and served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Eckerd Drug Stores in 1999 and 2000. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance and was elected vice president and treasurer in 1995.

Thomas A. Clerkin

Tom Clerkin serves as senior vice president of property development at JCPenney. He joined JCPenney in 1971 in catalog, and has held a variety of management positions of increasing responsibility in personnel, administrative services, treasurer’s, specialty retailing, planning and research and finance. Prior to his current position Tom served as senior vice president of finance for the Company.

Prior to his current position, Michael served as senior vice president and director of property development for the Company. He began his career with JCPenney as a treasurer’s financial analyst in 1991, and subsequently held a variety of finance management positions of increasing responsibility.

Janet L. Dhillon

is executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. Janet joined JCPenney in 2009, and previously held the role of senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer for US Airways. In 2008, while at US Airways, Janet was named one of the ten most influential lawyers in Arizona by Arizona Business Magazine. Prior to joining US Airways, she spent 13 years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP before joining US Airways’ legal department in 2004. Janet received her undergraduate degree from Occidental College in 1984, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She then spent several years in the insurance industry before attending law school. Janet is a 1991 graduate from UCLA Law School, where she ranked first in her class and was awarded the Order of the Coif. Janet currently chairs the Retail Industry Leaders Association Retail Litigation Center’s Board of Directors.

Lorraine Hitch

is senior vice president and general merchandise manager of handbags and shoes. Lorraine held buyer roles at Hess’s Department Store and Cato Corporation prior to joining JCPenney in 2000. She has provided merchandising leadership in various increasing roles of responsibility at JCPenney, including senior buyer; divisional vice president, divisional merchandise manager for juniors; and divisional vice president and divisional merchandise manager for career sportswear.

Jan has been with JCPenney since 1988, and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, including national brand buyer; senior buyer, Junior’s; divisional vice president, divisional merchandise manager for dresses, suits and outerwear; and divisional vice president and divisional merchandise manager for casual sportswear.

is executive vice president and director of planning and allocation, responsible for the flow of merchandise to stores. Previously, he was senior vice president and director of planning and allocation for home, family footwear and women’s accessories. Clarence came to JCPenney in 2001 as director of planning and allocation in the home division. Prior to joining JCPenney, he held positions of increasing responsibility, including divisional vice president of planning for the Kmart Corporation and divisional controller for Lane Bryant.

Marie Lacertosa

Marie Lacertosa

is senior vice president and director of supply chain management, and president of JCP Logistics LP, an operating subsidiary of the Company, with responsibility for supply chain activities surrounding the movement of merchandise from suppliers to JCPenney stores and Direct customers. Prior to her current position, Marie served as vice president and director of supply chain operations and engineering. She joined JCPenney in 1981 and has held a series of positions of increasing responsibility in the logistics organization. Marie is a member of Supply Chain 50, and a VICS board member.

Steven Lawrence

is executive vice president and senior general merchandise manager of the men’s, home and children's division. Prior to his current role, Steve served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager of the children’s division. Previously, he was divisional vice president and divisional merchandising manager for young men’s sportswear. Steve joined JCPenney in 2000 from Foley’s where he held positions of increasing responsibility in men’s apparel for more than 10 years.

Thomas Nealon

Thomas Nealon

is group executive vice president of the Company, overseeing JCPenney’s robust Internet site, jcp.com, along with overseeing information technology, corporate strategy and JCPenney’s digital ventures organization, which is charged with exploring strategic digital opportunities and growth initiatives. Tom joined JCPenney in 2006, serving as chief information officer and led the development and implementation of industry-leading information technology systems to drive the Company’s product development and sourcing and inventory flow capabilities, as well as to dramatically improve the functionality of jcp.com, introduce innovative mobile applications, and introduce the findmore kiosks in JCPenney’s stores. He joined the Company from EDS, where he served on assignment as the senior vice president and chief information officer at Southwest Airlines. Prior to that, Mr. Nealon was a partner at the Feld Group, an IT management consultancy firm later acquired by EDS. He also spent 15 years at Frito-Lay, Inc., a division of PepsiCo, serving in critical roles across the Information Technology organization, ultimately serving for two years as its chief information officer.

Mike joined JCPenney in 2005, previously serving as executive vice president and chief human resources and administration officer and has instituted a wide range of initiatives, including the Company’s WINNING TOGETHER™ principles that foster industry-leading associate engagement, as well as initiatives to improve efficiency in logistics operations, and leadership programs that enable Associates to achieve greater levels of career success. Prior to his position at JCPenney, Mike served as senior vice president, international human resources and information technology officer at Yum Brands, Inc. Before joining Yum, he worked in human resources at Burger King and Grand Metropolitan.

John J. Tighe

is senior vice president and general merchandise manager of home for JCPenney. He was previously senior vice president of jcp.com, with responsibility for driving strategy, business planning and execution and improving the overall brand and customer experience for the site, which is one of the largest apparel and home furnishing destinations on the Internet. He joined JCPenney in 2002 and was named divisional merchandise manager for Junior Sportswear two years later. He had previously spent 10 years at Filene’s in a series of merchandising roles of increasing responsibility.
