Our Sales Managers are highly energetic, multi-tasking people, they are responsible for leading stores teams, ensuring customers have a great shopping experience, creating exciting visual presentations and maximizing sales and profit objectives. The Sales Manager Trainee program includes:
- 16 weeks of formal training by senior store management in sales leadership, merchandise presentation and hands-on daily operations in a JCPenney store
- An opportunity to manage an area within your store and apply the skills you've learned through your training
- Interaction with senior store management who will coach and mentor you throughout the program and training from our Home Office via our internal satellite broadcasts
Upon successful completion of the Sales Manager Trainee program, you will be promoted to your first assignment as a Sales Manager. JCPenney stores are nationwide, so a willingness to relocate is required. Along with a competitive salary and bonus potential, your relocation expenses will be covered.
