Industrial Engineering Trainee

As an Industrial Engineering Trainee in one of our logistics centers, you will experience firsthand how our supply chain network handles shipments from all over the world to fuel the merchandise supply for JCPenney stores, Internet and Catalog.

During this four-month training program, you will be mentored and coached my senior managers as you work side by side with logistics teams to learn the critical role our logistics centers play in the JCPenney supply chain network. As a valued team member, you will perform end-to-end project management including: project inceptions, option comparison, return on investment calculations, material ordering, equipment or process installation, and training supply chain team members on the optimal use of equipment or processes.

Upon successful completion of the Industrial Engineering Manager Trainee program, you will be promoted to an Industrial Engineer at one of eight locations: Buena Park, CA; Columbus, OH; Lenexa, KS; Alliance, TX; Atlanta, GA; Manchester, CT; Milwaukee, WI; and Indianapolis, IN.
