Located in Salt Lake City, our Shared Services Center Associates are an integral part of our Corporate team. The dynamic structure of our Shared Services Center allows for a diversity of positions with an emphasis and focus on serving internal and external customers including JCPenney Stores, the JCPenney Home Office (in Plano, TX), supply chain facilities, JCPenney Associates, suppliers and our buying customers.
Our Shared Services team is responsible for JCPenney's general accounting operations including general ledger, inventory accounting, stock ledger, payroll and government reporting, accounts payable, rent and occupancy, banking, captial and fixed assets, logistics and shipping, as well as several other functions. The Center also features a call center that supports stores, customers, suppliers and JCPenney Associates.
