Associate Buyer

JCPenney's talented Associate Buyers serve a key role in setting us apart from the competition with their selection of quality products for our customers. Our Associate Buyers are responsible for increasing market share by planning, purchasing, communicating and controlling merchandising and marketing plans.

We're looking for buyers with eight or more years of experience in merchandising, including at least two years as an Assistant Buyer or Buyer, a bachelor's degree and experience in fashion/lifestyle coordination and buying operations. If you have expertise in sales analysis, assortments and sales planning, a proven ability to motivate and lead a team and accomplish goals, along with proficiency in both Microsoft Excel® and Word®, as well as interpersonal, problem-solving, and communications skills apply for an Associate Buyer career today!
