Senior Assistant Buyer

JCPenney's talented Buyers serve a key role in setting us apart from the competition with their selection of quality products for our customers. Our Buyers are responsible for increasing market share by planning, purchasing, communicating and controlling merchandising and marketing plans.

We're looking for someone with six to eight years' experience in merchandising with at least two years as an Assistant Buyer, a bachelor's degree and experience in fashion/lifestyle coordination and buying operations. If you have expertise in sales analysis, assortments and sales planning, a proven ability to motivate and lead a team and accomplish goals, along with proficiency in both Microsoft Excel® and Word®, as well as interpersonal, problem-solving, and communications skills apply for a Senior Assistant Buyer career today!
