Technical Designer

As a Technical Designer at JCPenney, you will provide technical evaluation and expertise for both store and catalog apparel merchandise. You will oversee design, construction and manufacturing to achieve appropriate fit, quality and style interpretation, ensuring customer satisfaction and a reduction in catalog returns. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing buyers and others in the establishment of construction standards and the acceptance and support of quality control programs to enhance the level of control, and
• Working with suppliers to adhere to Company standards on a regular basis.
