Decorator Consultant
As a Decorator Consultant in the custom decorating department, you will be responsible for selling custom decorating merchandise outside of a store in customer’s homes, while focusing on maintaining or achieving maximum sales volume and customer service standards. Responsibilities include:
- Taking measurements and preparing order specifications,
- Negotiating contracts with the customer and handling customer complaints,
- Ensuring delivery and installation of merchandise,
- Staffing an in-store decorating studio,
- Assisting in training of new Associates, and
- Utilizing sales potential, including credit programs, of assigned leads as well as developing new customer leads.
If you have effective communication and arithmetic skills, thorough knowledge of color coordination and basic custom decorating techniques, as well as the ability to utilize direct selling techniques to build and retain customers, apply to be a Decorator Consultant.
